This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we use it, with whom we share it, how long we retain it, and your rights when participating in the Central X gaming community (website, newsletter, Discord, and other official channels). We do not sell your data.

• Name, username/gamertag, email, country, platform IDs (e.g., Discord/Twitch/Steam when you choose to connect).
• Messages and content posted in the community (UGC), event/sweepstakes entries, and form responses.
• Information submitted to support (e.g., screenshots, error descriptions).

2.2 Automatically Collected Data

• IP address, browser type, language, operating system, pages visited, time spent, traffic source, cookie identifiers, and, when permitted, advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID).
• Technical and performance logs (errors, crashes, usage metrics).

2.3 Third-Party Data (Optional)

When you connect third-party accounts (e.g., Discord/Google/Facebook/Twitch), we only receive the necessary data for authentication and social features (public name, avatar, email), with your consent. You may disconnect at any time.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases

• Community Operation and Moderation (creating/managing accounts, organizing matches/events, preventing abuse) — contract execution and legitimate interest.
• Administrative and Service Communications — contract execution.
• Newsletter and Promotional Communications — consent (opt-in and opt-out anytime).
• Metrics/Analytics and Website Improvement — legitimate interest and, when required, consent.
• Advertising/Affiliates — consent when applicable.
• Legal Obligations — legal obligation/legitimate interest.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies to ensure the site works, remember preferences, measure traffic, and, with your permission, personalize ads. You can manage cookies via the consent banner and in your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect the functionality of the website.

5. Sharing Data

We do not sell your data. We share it only with:

• Service Providers (hosting/cloud, email marketing, analytics, moderation, and anti-spam tools);
• Social Platforms you connect with;
• Advertising/Affiliate Partners, when you accept their respective cookies or click on links;
• Authorities, when required by law. All share partners act under data protection contractual obligations.

7. Data Retention

• Account/community data: retained as long as your account is active; upon deletion request, data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days, unless required for legal obligations.
• Logs and analytics: typically retained for 12 to 24 months in an aggregated/anonymized format.
• Event/sweepstakes data: retained for up to 12 months after event closure or for any specific legal retention periods.

8. Security

We implement encryption in transit, access control, backups, and audit logs. No system is 100% secure; please use strong passwords and enable 2FA on platforms that offer it.

9. Children's Privacy

Central X is not directed to children. Minimum age: 13 years (or the applicable digital age requirement in your jurisdiction, such as 16 years in the EEA). If we identify participation below the applicable age without verifiable parental consent, we will delete the data.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (LGPD, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, among others), you have the right to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, and revocation of consent.
